Eyewitness to Pearl Harbor:  One Soldier's Story
Walter Oka, Hawaiian native, will share his life's story.  He was a witness to the attack on Pearl Harbor at age 13.  He later served in the Army in Japan and as part of the Military Intelligence Service.

The Ward Heeler & The Spirit Children
Greg Hand tells the tale of Lewis Kraft, one of Boss Cox's trusted lieutenants who was desparate for an heir.  This Westwood resident was all ears when Clairvoyant medium, Plymouth Weeks, claimed she could produce children from the spirit realm.  Greg publishes a blog called "Cincinnati Couriosities."

McFarlan Woods Hike
The hike will be on rough overgrowth trails.  Expect some steep slopes and creek crossings (but no bears).  Maria Mitchell, an exereinced hike leader, will be the guide.  For ages 12 and up.  Wear long pants, good hiking shoes or walking shoes.  Hiking poles are helpful.  No flip flops!  Duration: 1 - 1.5 hours.  Will be conceled in case of storms.
10 am  Meet near shelter at McFarlan Woods section of Mt. Airy Forest.
